This year at the RGS Christmas Fair, many lower sixth students sold a wide array of products to parents, to compete in teams for who could earn the most profits – ranging from packets of sweets to RGS branded gin glasses.

In an exclusive interview with one of the top entrepreneur geniuses of the competition, I spoke to Siddharth Sai Rayaprolu of Vine-Dicate Enterprise LTD about the design and marketing of his product.

Sid says his group came up with the idea of their product ( An electric 4 piece corkscrew) through innovative and intuitive thinking and designing. They imported goods from China via Alibaba, then packaged the goods in quality packaging and sold them to customers for a profit.

Vinedicate’s marketing had a physical and online presence, with the group producing a poster along with several viral TikToks in order to promote their product. In the end, they sold most of their products at the GHS Christmas fair by sticking up their posters all around the GHS.

Other stalls included high quality drinks glasses, adorned with the RGS logo. Additionally, people sold milkshakes, bucket hats, retro sweets and hydro-flasks. In the end, all groups made a profit and it was a very successful enterprise project.

Thank you to Mr Stratford for organising the event and everybody involved in the fair.
